This year, the TEEAL Project partnered once again with the Cornell International Institute for Food, Agriculture and Development (CIIFAD)'s SMART Program to offer a project opportunity in one of our subscription-eligible countries. With a focus on the work being accounted for by our grant with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we opted to pursue a project in Bangladesh, including efforts to develop an outreach and training program in Bangladesh that are similar to the program provided by the Information Training And Outreach Centre For Africa (ITOCA) in sub-Saharan Africa.
Our SMART Project students are now on the ground in Bangladesh, along with the TEEAL Director, Joy Paulson; additionally, one of our project team members, Amanda Ward, has been kind enough to document the efforts in Bangladesh with a blog! Follow along, meet our SMART Project team members, and find out more about the efforts on the ground in Bangladesh through the eyes of our fantastic SMART Project team by checking out the blog, titled "Finding a new home in Bangladesh."
- With best regards from the TEEAL Project team.
