A Production Note from the TEEAL Project Office on the 2009 Update for the TEEAL collection.

With the 2009 Update for TEEAL scheduled to be released in December 2010, we wanted to give current and potential subscribers an idea as to what to expect in this newest update of the TEEAL collection.

So, what should you know about the 2009 DVD Update for TEEAL?

  • We've increased our content. TEEAL will now contain full-text access to over 200 journals, including 20 new African titles since the release of the 2008 update
  • Plant Resource of Tropical Africa, or PROTA, will now  be included in TEEAL as an additional installation option.
  • An expandable subject category list will now be available within the TEEAL installation
  • Foreign language help will also now be available; this option will allow you to toggle between English, French, and Spanish language help sections.

Within the coming months, we'll be working diligently to check the quality of our collection - and then move full-steam ahead into the final stages of production for the 2009 Update material.

As always, TEEAL continually strives to make our collection an effective resource for our subscribers. If you have any questions or comments about what to expect in the new TEEAL Update, or just have general inquiries about the collection, please do not hesitate to email us at: teeal@cornell.edu.

Continued best regards from the TEEAL Project Team!
