Production Note: the TEEAL 2010 Update

With the 2010 Update for TEEAL scheduled to be released in December of this year, we at the TEEAL Project wanted to let everybody know a bit more about what to expect for the newest annual update.

So what are some of the most important, and relevant, attributes of the 2010 TEEAL Update? Institution subscribed through the 2010 Update will receive brand NEW content, including:

- Nearly 30,000 NEW articles published in 2010
- NEW journals including:
      •    CTA's prestigious magazine SPORE, focusing on current issues about agricultural and rural development in African, Caribbean and Pacific countries
      •    20+ Journals from BioOne, a global non-profit collaborative dedicated to improving access to critical research in the biological, ecological and environmental sciences
      •    250 new encyclopedia records from the Plant Resource of Tropical Africa (PROTA)
      •    Anticipated local literature from 10 NEW African Journals and 5 NEW Spanish Journals

The individual 2010 Update of TEEAL will also be provided on flash drives (likely 2) – instead of individual DVDs. We hope that consolidating the update materials via this new update medium will help ensure a more efficient installation process.

As always, we are continuing to work diligently to check the quality of our collection, and we continue to welcome feedback from our users. If you have any questions or comments about what to expect in the new TEEAL Update, or just have general inquiries about the collection, please do not hesitate to email us at: teeal@cornell.edu

Continued best regards from the TEEAL Project Team!
